Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Cod
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and chopped dill until well combined.
- Brush the mixture over each cod fillet, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Bake the Cod
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cod for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Step 4: Serve
- Once baked, remove the cod from the oven and transfer it to serving plates.
- Garnish with lemon slices and additional chopped herbs if desired.
- Serve the baked cod hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes such as steamed vegetables, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.
