Description

This Berry Avocado Smoothie is a delicious and nutrient-packed drink that is perfect for a quick and healthy breakfast or snack. The combination of berries and avocado provides a boost of antioxidants, vitamins, and healthy fats to support glowing skin and overall well-being.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Gather your ingredients: a ripe avocado, mixed berries, a banana, fresh spinach leaves, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and ice cubes.
  • Peel and pit the avocado, peel the banana, and measure out the remaining ingredients.

Step 2:

  • Place the peeled and pitted avocado, mixed berries, peeled banana, spinach leaves, almond milk, and honey or maple syrup into the blender.
  • Secure the lid tightly on the blender.
  • Start blending the ingredients on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • For a colder consistency, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender and blend until fully incorporated.

Step 3:

  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Blend briefly to ensure the added sweetness is well mixed.

Step 4:

  • Pour the smoothie into glasses, making sure to distribute it evenly.
  • Optionally, garnish with a few extra berries or a slice of avocado for a decorative touch.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, use frozen mixed berries or add more ice cubes.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to your taste preferences.
  • Feel free to incorporate additional superfoods like chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutritional benefits.
