Ingredients
- 8 ounces (225g) fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 8 ounces (225g) cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1:
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package directions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 2:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown and tender.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute, until fragrant.
Step 3:
- Pour in the heavy cream and reduce the heat to low.
- Let the cream simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
