Ingredients

- 8 slices of white or whole wheat bread
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)

- Fresh dill or mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
- Prepare the cucumber by washing it thoroughly and slicing it into thin, even slices.
- You can peel the cucumber if desired, but keeping the skin on adds extra color and nutrients.

- Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
