Description

Tender chicken breasts are filled with a savory mixture of creamy feta cheese and vibrant spinach, creating a burst of Mediterranean flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, feta cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 3:

  • Using a sharp knife, carefully slice a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach and feta mixture, dividing it evenly among them.

Step 4:

  • Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

Notes

  • You can secure the stuffed chicken breasts with toothpicks if needed to keep the filling inside while baking.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle some extra feta cheese on top of the chicken breasts before baking.
  • Serve the stuffed chicken breasts with a side of roasted vegetables or a Greek salad for a complete meal.
