Description

This mouthwatering Honey Glazed Ham Recipe for Easter Celebration will be the star of your holiday feast, delighting everyone with its perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 spiral-cut ham, about 810 pounds
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Place the ham in a roasting pan, flat side down.

Step 2: Prepare the Glaze

  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon.
  • Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is smooth, about 5 minutes.

Step 3: Glaze the Ham

  • Brush half of the glaze over the surface of the ham, making sure to get in between the slices.
  • Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.

Step 4: Bake the Ham

  • Bake the ham in the preheated oven for 1 hour, basting with the remaining glaze every 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil during the last 20 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize and the ham to brown.

Notes

  • If you prefer a stickier glaze, you can increase the amount of honey and brown sugar in the recipe.
  • For extra flavor, you can stud the ham with whole cloves before baking.
  • Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.
