Crispy and flavorful on the outside and tender on the inside, these salmon Patties are an easy-to-make, delicious snack to enjoy as an appetizer or main course with a salad.

- 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, flake the drained salmon with a fork.
- Add breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
Step 2: Shape the Patties
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
Step 3: Cook the Patties
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the salmon patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 4: Serve
- Once cooked, transfer the patties to a serving plate. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.
