This Savory Lamb Burgers for Eid al-Adha blends the rich flavors of traditional Eid al-Adha lamb dishes with the creative concept of a modern hamburger for a unique and delicious festive dining experience.

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and sliced red onion for garnish
Instructions
Step 1:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
Step 2:
- Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
Step 3:
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the lamb patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Step 4:
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, until they are warm and slightly crispy.
Step 5:
- Assemble your lamb burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a lamb patty, tomato slices, and sliced red onion.
- Top with the remaining half of the bun.
