Description

Spooky Pumpkin Cheese Ball is a scary and delicious Halloween themed cheese ball with pumpkin flavor and amazing looks, definitely a perfect snack choice for Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pretzel sticks, for decorating
  • Black olives, sliced, for decorating
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

Step 1:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and pumpkin puree until smooth and well blended.

Step 2:

  • Add shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  • Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 3:

  • Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into a round ball, resembling a pumpkin.
  • Place the cheese ball on a serving plate or platter.

Step 4:

  • To decorate, gently press pretzel sticks into the top of the cheese ball to create a pumpkin stem.
  • Place sliced black olives around the base of the cheese ball to mimic pumpkin “ridges”.

Notes

  • For an extra festive touch, you can roll the cheese ball in crushed orange-colored crackers or crushed Doritos for a pumpkin-like appearance.
